Here are some ways to help protect our watershed:
Get out in river
Get out there in water with a fishing pole, or a canoe with friends, or take a bushwacking adventure and add the experience of the river and surrounding land to your sense of where we live and what sustains life for people, creatures and our natural systems.
Clean up together
In our annual Spring and Fall “Source to Sea” cleanups we remove trash and invasive plants, raising pollution awareness along the riverbanks. Volunteers get gloves, bags, and assignments, having fun while practicing care for our environment.
Support our work
WRWA is a volunteer led non-profit. Your annual member donations, end of year donations and business sponsorship of wildwater races help us buy materials for river clean-ups, expand our programming, contribute to local conservation projects, and provide stipends for seasonal internships.
