WRWA River Cleanup Spring 2026 – Agawam

Volunteers for the River cleanup in Agawam will gather at 9:00 am at the Pynchon Point parking lot near the South End bridge circle on River Road. Assignments are generally completed about 1:00 pm. Organizers are closely watching river levels in Agawam, and the cleanup will be postponed there if conditions are not good. WRWA will distribute gloves and trash bags and offer safety tips, then send off site teams. Organizers target watershed sites in Westfield, Russell, Huntington, West Springfield and Agawam. Assignments are generally completed about noon or 1pm.
Everyone is welcome; children must be supervised by an adult. WRWA will arrange with local communities for pickup of trash and debris recovered at each site.
